What Is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® is an advanced treatment option that is designed to straighten your teeth. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign® doesn’t make use of any metal or wires. Clear plastic aligners are used instead, working gradually to straighten your teeth throughout the course of your treatment.

Multiple sets of these clear plastic aligners are made to fit comfortably over your teeth. We will first create a mold of your teeth. This mold is then sent to a technician who creates your sets of plastic aligners. You will need to wear each set for 2 weeks, with the final set of clear plastic aligners completing the straightening treatment.

Following your Invisalign® plan, we will fit you with your very own custom retainer. This is designed to help maintain your straight teeth. It is important that you wear your retainer as directed, as this will help to prevent your teeth from shifting out of place.

How Long Does Treatment Take?

Invisalign® is loved by our patients due to its comfort and speed of treatment time. Whereas traditional metal braces can take up to 3 years to complete treatment, Invisalign® does it in just 12 to 18 months.
